Meeting called to order at 7:02 PM by President Jerry Bird.15 members were present.Secretary Deb Turner’s minutes were not available and will be read at next meeting for approval.Treasurer Shaun Hebert read treasurer’s report and was accepted by members present.Shaun also brought up whether we should have a “prudent reserve” in our account so the total doesn’t get so low that we have no money for emergencies. Voted to keep $2,000.00 as limit, subject to emergency spending approval by the club’s officers.Vice President Bill Turner reported on the work that has been done on the club’s Sno Dozer. Transmission has been returned to Hi Tech Transmissions because there is still a problem with reverse on it.Jerry , Bill , Tim and Shaun met with Marge Beals and her daughter re: easement on their property. They have agreed to give us one, but need to check into it further to see about surveying it and if anything else needs to be done.Jerry reported that the tree company has been doing work in the area and have dropped off several loads of chips to use on the trails. Shaun was thanked for moving the chips, also.The “Legends of Snowmobiling” dinner will be held on May 1st at Chesterfield 4 Seasons Club. It will be a roast beef dinner and the cost is $15.00 per person. Each club will honor one person they choose that they feel deserves to be recognized. Next meeting is February 15 at 7:00 PM at Chesterfiled 4 Seasons Club.Sunday, February 7 is our 7th Annual Memorial Ride. Set- up will be Saturday between 12 and 1:00. Lunch will be provided. It was decided that this year we will split the money earned with 50% going to the club, 25% to West Cummington Congregational Church Rebuilding Fund and 25% going to the Goshen COA. Deb will send out a reminder to all who have supplied their e-mail addresses to her.May is Cummington Fair’sTractor Parade. June will be our Club Picnic.Tim Pease was approached by the NY Truck Pullers Association to see if we were interested in parking cars and possibly doing a chicken BBQ on 6/25 and 6/26 at 3 County Fairgrounds.
